Born June 10, 1942 in Saskatoon, SK.

After graduating from Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Arts & Sciences, joined Bowman Bros. (Acklands Ltd.) as a machinist in 1964. Moved to Moosomin in 1967 and then to North Battleford in 1982. Became a shareholder and salesman for Triod Supply.

Married Cathy Fiddler in 1965. Two sons, Darren (Sherri) of White Court, B.C. and Michael (Cathy) of Prince Albert, SK. Two grandchildren.

Initiated into Ionic Lodge No. 31, GRS, April 1970; Passed in May 1970; Raised on June 12, 1970. WM 1976 & 1988. Member of most concordant Masonic bodies.

DDGM, District No. 7, GLS, 1992–93. GM 2004–05.
