Donald A. Rennie, CM, PhD
Grand Master, 1990–91
Born at Medicine Hat, AB, April 21, 1922 and moved to Gull Lake, SK in 1925 where he took his elementary education.
Took his high school education by correspondence.
His first job was with the Bank of Nova Scotia in Swift Current, SK.
Served overseas as a pilot with 407 Coastal Command Squadron during the latter part of WWII.
After completing his BSA and PhD Degrees at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Wisconsin, respectively, he accepted a career as teacher, researcher, and administrator in the College of Agriculture, U of S, for a period of 37 years.
Married Margaret June Hooper of Prince Albert. One son, Dr. Robert J. Rennie; two daughters, Wendy and Joan.
Initiated into Lodge Progress No. 92, GRS, Saskatoon, November 28, 1963. WM 1978. Member of most Masonic concordant bodies. The only Royal Arch Mason from Saskatchewan to receive the Royal Gold Medal, General Grand Chapter, Royal Arch Masons International.
