Rev. John Morland, DD

Grand Master, 1973–74

Born June 27, 1904 at Newcastle upon Tyne, England.

Emigrated to Canada and settled in Manitoba, then moved to the Major District in Saskatchewan in 1927.

Completed his high school education at Regina College and graduated in Theology from St. Andrew’s College, Saskatoon, SK. Honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree conferred May 1972.

Active in community affairs.

Married Ruby Mae Boyle, 1943. Two sons.

Initiated into Acacia Lodge No. 101, GRS, Saltcoats, SK, 1947. WM 1953.

DDGM, District No. 10, GLS, 1953. GM 1973–74.

Died at Kelowna, B.C., April 19, 1987 at 83 years of age.
