Born at Iroquois, ON, July 22, 1884.

Educated at Iroquois high school and at Queen's University, Kingston, ON, with post-graduate studies at the University of Manitoba.

Teacher at Nutana Collegiate and the Provincial Normal School, both in Saskatoon, SK.

Married Mary Josephine Evans of Montreal, December 24, 1920. Two daughters.

Very active in sports.

Moved back to Ontario in 1945.

Initiated into Imperial Lodge No. 60, GRS, May 13, 1917. WM 1924.

DDGM District No. 5, GRS, 1935–36. GM 1941–42.

Died at Waterloo, ON, November 24, 1967 at 83 years of age.
