Donald Duncan McDonald

Born January 12, 1932 at Saskatoon, SK and received his education at Mayfair School and at Bedford Road Collegiate.
Studied Business Administration at the University of Saskatchewan.
Employed with the Sask. Power for over 35 years at A.L. Cole and Queen Elizabeth Power Stations, retiring as Plant Manager.
Active in many organization, especially in sports.
Joined Saskatoon Light Infantry (Reserve) September 19, 1948 and then the North Saskatchewan Regiment in 1962, serving as Pipe Major (CWO).
Married Elaine Penman, a teacher, from Jordan River, SK on July 2, 1955. One son, Jamie; three daughters, Heather, Bonnie, and Laurie.
Joined Asquith Lodge No. 146, GRS, January 9, 1973. WM 1980. Made Honorary Member of Rosthern–Duck Lake Lodge No. 13, GRS in 1998. WM 1999. Affiliated with Rosthern–Duck Lake Lodge No. 13, GRS in 2003.
GD of C 1985–86. GM 1992–93, the first to be installed wearing a kilt.
Named as “Citizen of the Year” in Saskatoon, 2005.
