Born December 23, 1914 in Winnipeg, MB where he received his early education.
Graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BSA Degree in 1935, then enrolled at the University of Minnesota and earned an MS degree in 1937 and a PhD Degree in 1940.
Enlisted with RCAS Corp attaining the rank of Captain. Awarded the OBE in 1946.
Married Joyce Noakes. Two daughters.
Joined Imperial Lodge No. 60, GRS, Saskatoon, SK in 1948. WM 1959.
GM 1967–68.
Died in Cairo, Egypt on February 24, 1985 and buried in Saskatoon with Masonic Rites on Thursday, March 7, 1985.
