Grand Master, 1950–51

Born at Cove Head, PEI, June 14, 1881.

Educated at Cove Head and Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown, PEI, receiving a teachers certificate in 1900.

Moved to Abernathy District in Saskatchewan in 1902.

Beginning in 1907 served in various departments of the Provincial Government.

Named Chancellor of the University of Saskatchewan in 1947.

Married Elizabeth Smith in Nelson, B.C. Three sons.

Initiated, Passed, and Raised in Wascana Lodge No. 2, GRS, in 1907. Charter member of Emulation Lodge No. 186, GRS, Regina. WM 1945.

GM 1950–51.

Died at Regina, February 16, 1967 at 86 years of age.
