Born March 18, 1888 near Yeovil, England.

Emigrated that same year with his parents to Morden, MB.

Early education in Winnipeg with matriculation from St. John’s College. Studied Law at University of Manitoba and graduated with LLB in 19193 and was admitted to the Bar.

Married Ruth M. Gossard of Missouri Valley, IL (USA), April 26, 1916. One son; one daughter.

Initiated, Passed, and Raised in Swift Current Lodge No. 26, GRS, 1915. WM 1923 & 1928.

DDGM, District No. 11, GLS, 1913. GM 1945–46.

Died at Swift Current, SK, June 22, 1961 at 73 years of age.
