Grand Master, 1944–45

Born in London, England, June 25, 1882.

Emigrated to Winnipeg, MB at age 10 and took his early schooling there.

Moved further west, settling in what is now Outlook, SK.

Opened town newspaper—The Outlook—as manager and editor. Disposed of the paper in 1909 and opened the first post office and real estate office.

Married Sarah Jessie Sutton in 1910. One son; one daughter.

Served overseas in WWI with the 46 Br. C.E.F. Wounded at Passchendaele. Returned to Canada in 1919.

Initiated into Outlook Lodge No. 65, GRS in 1916. WM 1924.

DDGM, District No. 7, GRS, 1928. GM 1944–45.

Buried with Masonic Rites at Outlook, Friday, November 27, 1970 at 88 years of age.
