Born October 7, 1874 at Middlesex, ON.

Early education in Middlesex County and at St. Mary’s Collegiate, Stratford, ON. Attended School of Pedagogy, Toronto.

In March, 1897 moved west as a teacher.

Attended Queens University, Kingston, ON and the University of Manitoba. Graduated in Law and was admitted to the Bar in 1914.

Married Miss Dora Reeve, December, 1904 (she died in 1923). Three daughters.

Mayor of Prince Albert, SK, 1925–29.

Raised in Wolseley Lodge No. 24, GRS, 1909. WM 1913. Affiliated with Prince Albert Lodge No. 63, GRS, 1919.

GM 1943–44.

Died at Prince Albert, April 17, 1958 at 83 years of age.
