Guy Hartsel Hummel

Grand Master, 1952–53

Born February 2, 1883 on a farm at Humboldt, NE (USA) and received his elementary and secondary education there.

Moved to Davidson, SK in March 1905.

Filed for homestead at Nokomis, SK and farmed there until retirement in 1949.

Married Georgia Wells of Humboldt, NE in 1907. Two sons; one daughter.

Initiated into Philathea Lodge No. 133, GRS. WM 1924.

DDGM, District No. 16, GLS, 1940. GM 1952–53.

Died at Nokomis, October 23, 1964 at 81 years of age and buried with Masonic Rites.
