Harold Henry Astbury

Born at Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England, February 10, 1917.

Educated in England.

First came to Canada with the RAF in 1941. Served in various parts of Canada, England, and Europe during WWII.

Upon returning to Canada, settled first in Moose Jaw, SK and then in Regina in 1949.

Began a career in life insurance, obtaining the Chartered Life Underwriter’s designation in 1966.

While stationed in Moose Jaw with the RAF met and married his wife Jean. One son, Douglas; and one daughter, Meryll.

Initiated into King Hiram Lodge No. 104, GRS, September 27, 1961. WM 1973–74.
