Gisli Konrad (Kon) Halldorson

Born March 8, 1921 at Leslie, SK where he received his education.

Joined the RCN in 1941.

Upon discharge in 1946, worked for a time for Elfros Rural Telephone Company before purchasing a farm near Leslie, SK.

Active in community affairs.

Married Salmonia (Sally) Johanna Gudbjorg Norman of Wynyard, SK on October 3, 1943. Twins, Norman Garth and Noreen Gail, born in 1946.

Married Anna Katharine (Kay) Taylor, November 1991.

Initiated into Elfros Lodge No. 145, GRS, February 25, 1953. WM 1959.

DDGM, District No. 15, GLS, 1971. GM 1982–83.

Died, surrounded by family, on Sunday, April 28, 2002 at 81 years of age.
