Born at Bramley, Leeds, Yorkshire, England, July 7, 1859.
Educated in Liverpool.
Emigrated to Canada, June 1884, as a missionary to Qu’Appelle, SK.
Due to health reasons, accepted a position with Hitchok & McCulloch, private bankers, 1895–1922.
Initiated into Qu’Appelle Lodge No. 34, GRM (now No. 6 GRS), July 13, 1886. Affiliated with Moose Jaw Lodge No. 26, GRM. WM 1904–05–08.
On formation of GLS, elected Grand Senior Warden (GSW). GM 1909–10.
Retired to Victoria, B.C.
Died Sunday, September 25, 1932, at Victoria, B.C., at 73 years of age.
