Initiated into Indian Head Lodge No. 33, Grand Registry of Manitoba (GRM), October 24, 1890.

District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM), 8th District, Grand Lodge of Manitoba (GLM), 1899.

On formation in 1906 of the Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan (GLS), elected Grand Master (GM) and re-elected in 1907.

Died November 19, 1941, at 72 years of age.
