Born July 17, 1883 at Burford near Brantford, ON.
Moved to Waskada, MB in 1889 and later to Melita, MB.
Attended a rural school and then high school in Melita.
Employed in different kinds of work and saved enough to article as a student of Law.
Served in the RCA at Signal Hill, Esquimalt, BC, and later in General Service with Royal Flying Corp., Toronto.
After WWI resumed studies of Law, first in Moose Jaw, SK and then with S.W. Baker of Shaunavon, SK. Set up his own practice.
Agent for the Attorney General, 1927–29 and 1932–42.
Appointed KC in 1935.
Married Annie R. Abercrombie of Kisbee, SK, 1922.
Initiated into St. Andrew’s Lodge No. 49, GRBC, 1913. Affiliated with Shaunavon Lodge No. 110, GRS, October 11, 1922. WM 1927.
GS 1927. DDGM, District No. 14, GLS, 1932. GM 1939–40.
Died at Shaunavon, Tuesday, January 20, 1942 at 58 years of age.
