John Melymick
Grand Master, 1978–79
Born at Kindersley, SK, July 22, 1911 and attended elementary school in Saskatoon and Kindersley and McKenzie High School in Kindersley.
Studied Business Administration at the University of Saskatchewan.
Began career in railroading with the CNR in 1928 as assistant agent, then as operator agent, and finally as dispatcher, retiring in 1971.
Married Olga Keyko of Saskatoon in 1936. Two sons.
Joined Victory Lodge No. 144, GRS, Saskatoon in 1948. WM 1962.
DDGM, District No. 5, GLS, 1967–68. Grand Tyler 1976. GM 1978–79.
Died December 29, 1984 at Saskatoon with the funeral on January 2, 1985 with Masonic Rites.
