John Alfred Robinson

Grand Master, 1977–78

Born December 30, 1914 near Gravelbourg, SK and moved with family to a farm near Palmer, SK in 1917 where he began his education in Marquette (rural) School.

In 1933 began a 12-year career in farming. Became a certified welder and automotive mechanic, then the Provincial Welding Examiner in 1945. Established garage, machine shop, and implement dealership, retiring in 1976.

Married Olga Jean Miller, September 12, 1940. Two sons; one daughter.

Initiated into Milestone Lodge No. 164, GRS, January 6, 1949. Affiliated with Weyburn Lodge No. 20, GRS. WM 1962.
