Lachlan Taylor McDonald

Grand Master, 1914–15

Born on Durham Road, 12 miles from Kincardine, Bruce County, ON, where he attended elementary and high school.

Took a position with Sawyer-Massey, then came west in 1904 to open a company warehouse.

Joined American-Abel Company in 1905.

Married Miss Queenie Hyslop in 1887. Two sons; two daughters.

Initiated into Barton Lodge No. 6, GRC, Hamilton, ON, 1905. Affiliated with Wascana Lodge No. 23, GRM (now No. 2, GRS), Regina, June 6, 1905.

GJW 1911. GSW 1912. DGM 1913. GM 1914–15.

Returned to Ontario.

Died in Toronto, April 7, 1938, at 78 years of age.
