Wellington Bartley Willoughby

Born at Caledon, Peel County, ON, July 10, 1859.

Educated at University of Toronto. Earned LLB in 1887.

Practiced law in Ontario until 1899.

Moved to Moose Jaw, SK where he resided and again practiced law.

Appointed to the Senate, 1917. Leader of the Conservatives in the Senate, 1929.

Married Susan Smedley Jones of Philadelphia, PA (USA) in 1892 (she died in 1907). No children.

Initiated into True Blue Lodge No. 98, GRC, Bolton, ON. Affiliated with Moose Jaw Lodge No. 26, GRM (now No. 3, GRS).

GJW 1910. GSW 1911. DGM 1913. GM 1913–14.

Died August 1, 1932, at Moose Jaw, at 73 years of age.
