Born at Regina, SK, September 6, 1948 and received his elementary and secondary education there.

Received a BA Degree and an Honours Certificate in Mathematics from the University of Saskatchewan (Regina Campus). Earned Masters Degree in Mathematics, University of Waterloo, 1971. Earned a BEd Degree in 1972 and joined the staff of the Regina School Division where he served as Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources & Payroll.

Joined Assiniboia Lodge No. 49, GRS in 1973. WM 1983. Lodge Secretary since 1990.

Grand Superintendent of Works 1986–87. DDGM, District No. 2, GLS, 1988–89. GM 1997–98.
