Born at Keswick, England, April 28, 1894 and emigrated to Canada in 1911.
Entered banking at 17 years of age.
Served overseas during WWI with 1st Contingent CEF, 1914. Joined Royal Flying Corp. as fighter pilot in 1918. On demobilization returned briefly to banking, then became a flying instructor and manager of Aerodrome in Saskatoon, SK.
Married Jean Hill, a teacher, at Verigin, SK. Two sons; one daughter.
Entered Masonry with Greta Lodge, Keswick, England, 1917, and later affiliated with several lodges, finally with Kinistino Lodge No. 1, GRS. WM 1945.
GM 1958–59. Later served as Grand Secretary until his death.
Died Monday, August 5, 1964 at 70 years of age and buried Thursday, August 8, 1964 at Keswick, England.
