Born at Wardsville, Middsex County, ON, May 17, 1874.
Educated in Ontario. Came west at age 17 to Regina, SK. Graduated from Regina Normal School, 1893, and pursued teaching until 1898.
Went into the lumber business in Regina and Stoughton, SK. Practiced Architecture and Engineering in Regina, 1909.
Married Miss Violet Mildred Thompson of Penticton, B.C., August 21, 1907. Three daughters.
Initiated into Wascana Lodge No. 23, GRM (now No. 2, GRS), Regina, February 4, 1896. WM New Hope Lodge, GRS, Stoughton, 1907.
Grand Registrar 1912-20. Grand Treasurer 1929. GM 1932-33.
Died at home in Regina, Wednesday, November 22, 1944 at 70 years of age.
