Grand Master, 1933-34

Born in East Rugged Islands, Shelburne County, NS, 1872.

Received elementary, high school and normal school training in Nova Scotia, then studied Law at Dalhousie University, Halifax, graduated, and was admitted to the bar in 1907.

Came west to Moose Jaw, SK where he practiced Law until 1929.

Made Chairman of the Workmen’s Compensation Board of Saskatchewan.

Married Miss Carrie E. Shand at Barrington Passage, NS in 1909. Three sons; two daughters.

Raised in Philadelphia Lodge No. 47, GRNS, Barrington Passage, in 1905. Charter member of Doric Lodge No. 71, GRS. WM Doric Lodge 1914.

DDGM, District No. 3, GLS, 1922. GM 1933-34.

Died in Moose Jaw, Monday, November 26, 1962 at 88.
