Born February 2, 1884, at Hyde in Cheshire, England.

Emigrated to Ontario and later to Saskatoon, SK.

Initiated into Fidelity Lodge No. 231, GRC, Ottawa, ON, and Raised in 1010. Affiliated with Imperial Lodge No. 60, GRS, 1915. Secretary 1917–25. Life Member, 1949.

DDGM, District No. 5, GLS, 1916–17. GM 1925–26.

Died June 12, 1951, at Vancouver, B.C. at 67 years of age.
