Born at Barron, WI (USA), April 19, 1912 and came to Canada with his parents at an early age, settling first at Watrous, SK and then at Melville, SK.

Completed secondary education at Melville High School in 1930 followed by teachers training in 1940.

Graduated with a BA Degree, University of Saskatchewan, and a B.Paed Degree from the University of Toronto in 1944.

Married. One son.

Initiated into Boscurvis Lodge No. 39, GRS, Oxbow, SK, 1945. WM 1949.

DDGM, District No. 8, GLS, 1954. GM 1960–61.

Died at Regina, Saturday, August8, 1992 at 80 years of age and buried with Masonic Rites, Wednesday, August 12, 1992.
