Grand Master, 1986–87

Born August 23, 1925 at Climax, SK, descendant of Norwegian royalty.

His family immigrated to Canada from Gudbronsdalen Valley, Norway.

Educated at Plateau School No. 528, grades 1–11, and took the last year of high school at Glenedyth in Climax.

Joined the armed services with the Military Police for two and one-half years.

After discharge returned to farming, a profession he still enjoys.

Active in every civic organization in his community.

Appointed Justice of the Peace for the Province of Saskatchewan in 1959.

Married Irene Maycock, a Registered Nurse, of Bracker, SK on July 20, 1954. Three children, Leslie, Lori, and James.

Initiated into Glenedyth Lodge No. 188, GRS, Climax in 1959. WM 1968.
