William Sinclair Fitzsimmons

Born at Ayrshire, Scotland, March 29, 1922 and emigrated with his parents to Canada in 1929, settling on a farm at Stettler, AB.
Here he received his education.
Joined the Armed Forces in 1940 and served overseas in WWII. Discharged in 1945.
Began a career with the CPR (running trades) in 1946 at Sutherland, SK, retiring as locomotive engineer in 1981.
Married Vera May Williams of Hollyport, Birkshire, England in 1944. One son, William (Bill).
Initiated into Twin City Lodge No. 89, GRS, Sutherland, October 22, 1962. WM 1972.
DDGM, District No. 5, GLS, 1977. GM 1985–86.
Died May 13, 1988 at 66 years of age and was buried with Masonic Rites, May 17, 1988 at Saskatoon.
