Samuel John Leach

Born December 24, 1908 at Moose Jaw, SK.

After the death of his father, moved with his mother and sister to Wadena, SK where he received his elementary and high school education.

After five years of business experience, joined the RCMP serving for 27 years and retiring in 1958.

Married Dorothy Westgate at Winnipeg, MB in 1937. Two sons; two daughters.

Initiated into Prince Albert Lodge No. 63, GRS, 1932. WM Cabri Lodge No. 119, GRS, 1961. Affiliated with Twin City Lodge No. 89, GRS, Saskatoon.

GM 1965–66.

Moved to Merrickville, ON. Active in Merrickville Lodge No. 55, GRC and at Burritt Rapids, ON.

Died at Merrickville on November 9, 1999 at 88 years of age.
